I first purchased Capcom's Resident Evil for Sony's PlayStation in June of 1996 at the local Kmart. Thirty years later, here's Jill Valentine standing in a mansion hallway from the 2002 Nintendo GameCube remake that was remastered in high-definition for Windows (and various consoles) in 2015. This screenshot was captured through Steam while playing the game tonight on my new favorite Windows-replacement operating system: CachyOS.
